Shouldn't your home be as secure as your car?

Many people have alarm systems for their cars, and not just because a good many cars come with them these days. People spend extra to get particular kinds of car alarms, and a lot of people even like to show them off, sometimes allowing the alarm to sound for minutes at a time for no reason. They'll be loading their car, or just taking their time to get into it, all the while letting the alarm sound for the whole neighborhood or shopping complex to hear. It's curious then, that such a fewer number of people have a home security system. For most of us, the value of what we keep in our homes is at least as much as that of our vehicles. Those that have alarm systems for their cars should certainly also have security alarm systems for their homes.
