Sportsplex May Get ADT
The Opelika Sportsplex and Aquatics Center in Alabama is scheduled to open next month, and may feature an ADT monitored alarm system to help protect its premises. Tonight, local residents will discuss the topic at the Opelika City Council meeting. The burglar system, provided by ADT Security, would cost less than $675 per year. The facility also seeks maintenance equipment, such as weed trimmers, a mower, sprayers and a utility vehicle tractor. In total, these items cost upwards of $144,000.
According to Opelika City Attorney, Guy Gunter, “this is the equipment they’ll use to maintain the grounds.”
